The weather's looking great for our first SUP Club of the season. Unfortunately the tides aren't so pretty, so we're back to the river this Wednesday evening, meeting at Paper Mill Lock (CM3 4BS – see www.wetndrysup.com/paper-mill-lock-river-chelmer/). With sunset at 7.45pm we're going to launch at 6.20pm (meeting from 6pm) ... but we're going to try something a bit different this time. We'll turn right (east) then loop back to Paper Mill Lock a couple of times – first at the first house, then at the bridge, and finally to the first lock and back – so if you're running late, no problem, just launch and you'll soon bump into us! Then, as we're off the water early and to celebrate the start to a new season, we should be able to get a table for dinner at the Lion Inn, Boreham...
