Woody Woodmansey will be back in Hull on 23 December 2014 with his supergroup Holy Holy to play David Bowie’s songs from 1969-73 at The Welly.

Spiders From Mars Mick Ronson and Trevor Bolder - both now sadly deceased - were famously from Hull, and Woodmansey is from nearby Driffield. Woody returns to play in his native East Riding for the first time for many years.

Woody had this to say about the gig: “Really looking forward to bringing Holy Holy to the UK City of Culture 2017... So long since I've played there. Hull audiences were always good to us, from The Rats through to The Spiders. And The Welly is close to where I used to live. Hull, Holy Holy and Xmas - should be a great night.”

Vita and the Vicious are a London-based five piece, fronted by feisty redhead Vita Ross. Their debut album will be out next year. In the meantime they are gigging their unique brand of gutsy, catchy pop/rock. Expect a show that's fast, fun and fabulous.’
