Üritus: Groove Circus X Skub Duger X Oh Grandpa || Tempt | TONIGHT!

Groove Circus - Rock/Funk (Murfreesboro, TN)

Groove Circus has began making a name for themselves by combining edgy guitar tones, jazzy bass lines, tasteful drum beats, and crafty lyrics. Drummer Chris Duane joined forces with singer/songwriter/dread-head Jeremy Stinson and persuaded him leave South Carolina and move to Nashville. Through a series of fortunate events, they teamed up with Virginia Beach guitarist Angelo Comella; who became instrumental in developing the bands sound.

Their original acoustic/jazz/reggae sounds were fused with a funk/rock attitude to create their unique, yet familiar sound. Groove Circus draws on influences from bands like Foo Fighters, Jamie Cullum, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. On stage they enjoy wearing vibrant colors, and energizing listeners with an experience, not just a performance.

Most recently the band played the Music in the Middle Modern Arts Festival. After the festival, Groove Circus focused on writing new songs and finding a more permanent bass player. The band has recently added Atlanta native Mitch Knabe to their lineup. They are also currently working on their first full-length album which is being engineered and produced by the band themselves.
