Some of the activities at Stanford House are inside walking and exercise, table games inc. dominoes & cards, weekly breakfasts, Bingo, health checks, line dancing, quilting, arts & crafts, coach trips, community events & meetings, socialization, and much, much more! Stanford House hosts a weekly "Time Out" program, which is designed to provide caregivers of dementia and Alzheimer's patients a "time out", allowing them to rest, run errands, etc. The program provides patients with mental stimulation and socialization. "Time Out" is sponsored by the Soroptimist Club. The importance of volunteers can not be overlooked! Dedicated and dependable volunteers are necessary to keep the doors open.
