The DFTC Swing Orchestra is a phenomenal group of musicians brought together by a love of swing, jive and big band, music that never goes out of fashion and and is loved by people of all generations.

They will play hits from for big band era such as Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, as well as jumpin' jive classics from Louis Prima and Louis Jordan, or swing classics from artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darin and Harry Connick Jr. The DFTC Swing Orchestra has all the ingredients to make your night just fabulous and memorable.

With the perfect blend of youthful energy and experience, this versatile and talented band will give the perfect start to your Christmas week !

Ball Attire
This is a vintage Ball so come appropriately dressed in whatever era of fashion from the 1920s to the 1960s. This is your opportunity to bring out the best from your wardrobe and get dressed to the nines. Black tie and cocktail dresses are also a perfect accompaniment to the night.

Shake off your troubles and stresses and join us for a foot stompin evening at SavoyHop Christmas swinging vintage Ball. Everyone is welcomed and embraced at our night, dancers and non dancers alike come from all over the UK to enjoy an entertaining evening.

As well as our live band; Down for the Count. We aim to please you with a cabaret from the unique and wonderful Chee Chee Gals as well as DJ music from the 1920s through to the swing era and early Rhythm and Blues of the late 40s early 50s. We will be inviting some of the UK's top DJs to play for us as well as having our home grown talent to man the decks.

On top of this awesome live entertainment package of dancing and music, you will be provided with complimentary snacks and non alcoholic drinks all within your entry price. Please feel free to BYOB.

If you arrive early there is a pub to grab an early Christmas lunch across the road from the venue.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This is an adult event ranging from 16yrs - 80+

Is my registration/ticket transferable

Yes you are responsible for selling your own ticket on, however please let us know any name changes by 5pm on the 18/ 12

Can I update my registration information?

Please make amendments to any name changes by 5pm on the 18th December by emailing us

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have your name on the door!

What is the refund policy?

We understand that there are times when you just cant make it. However we still need to pay our artists and venue.Therefore we operate the following policy:

All bookings cancelled up to the 21st October will receive a full refund less any booking fees.
Any registrations cancelled between 21st October and 21st November will receive a 50% refund less any booking fees.
Any registrations cancelled on or after 21st November will not receive a refund. You are welcome to sell your ticket if you cannot attend. However name changes on tickets must be completed 3 days(18/12) before the event.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
