Üritus: Grounded presents No Artificial Colours + Eli & Fur + Denham Audio

Fresh faced duo No Artificial Colours have been making some serious waves in the underground house music scene ever since they teamed up several years ago. If it’s big old skool rave you’re into then you’ve come to the right place. Although the underlying feel is deep, groovy, hypnotic house, they always elaborate by incorporating acapellas, loops, sound shots and one hits. VICE described them as, ‘One big clusterf*ck of credibility.’ Need I persuade you more?

Since bursting onto the scene in 2012, Eli & Fur have been perfecting a sound built around infectious, electronic melodies and seductive, pensive vocal lines that have been hypnotising dance floors from London to Dubai. Eli & Fur have also been remixed by the likes of the legendary Jimmy Edgar and the fast rising Hackman and Ejeca. All the duo’s releases have come via their own imprint NYX, which they have recently launched as a club night in the capital showcasing up and coming new talent.
The girls met at college at the age of 16 where they bonded over their love of music, eventually turning this passion into DJing out at house parties around London, working without an agent to secure their names on as many line ups as possible. Now known for their captivating sets, which have seen the duo play alongside the likes of Maceo Plex and Scuba the duo have also been appearing on line ups for Chibuku, Bugged out and most recently Boiler Room TV. Their Festival highlights include Creamfields, Dimensions and Glastonbury.
Eli & Fur have also been writing together since their teenage years and their sharp songwriting sensibility is clearly recognised with ‘You’re so High’ which reached top 3 on Hype Machine and over 250k plays on Soundcloud. Their latest track, ‘Seeing Is Believing’, sees the girls collaborate with the talented Shadow Child who featured it in his recent BBC Radio 1 essential mix, the track will be forthcoming on Defected this Summer alongside other releases and remixes on Anjunadeep and Kitsune.
