Üritus: iSalonTango Monthly Sunday SUNSET MILONGA

We hope to see you Sunday 20th September - at iSalonTango's monthly SUNSET MILONGA at Onslow St Audrey's School, Old Rectory Drive, in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 8AB - Doors open 3.15pm to 7.30pm. £10 door entry. There is no need to book in advance, or to come with a partner - everyone is welcome.

These monthly traditional Argentine Tango Sunset Milongas have grown in reputation for providing a wonderful space, with good music, friendly Argentine Tango dancers and professional organisation. If you have yet to come, please do - you will be warmly welcomed. We only ask that you come with respect for each other, the floor, the community & the music. Dancers normally dress elegantly, but wear whatever you feel comfortable to dance in. We provide for your enjoyment:
- A gorgeous space and good quality of dance floor - fantastic large Hall with a smooth clean wooden dance floor that is uninterrupted by pillars or other features. Plenty of room for dancers who enjoy the ronda (with couples moving with roughly the same pace, leaving a similar distance between each other), whilst leaving lots of space for couples who enjoy the freedom of the middle of the floor.
- Beautiful music - traditional authentic Argentine tango, vals & milonga tracks from the golden era, played in tandas with cortinas. Social Milonga starts after our class - about 4.30pm. We pride ourselves in the quality of music - with our good specification professional music system, and by having DJ Barry Leadbetter, with his carefully sourced recorded collection from the golden era, which has been carefully selected for their fantastic quality of sound and knowledgeable choice to inspire dancers.
- A beautiful traditional Argentine Tango Vals Class with Maestro Beto Ortiz at the start of the Milonga (3.30pm to 4.30pm) which is open to all, and is included in the door entry price. A relaxed way to meet your fellow dancers. The class is very well attended and enjoyed, moving everyone around, giving plenty of opportunity to have brief embraces with each other. Beto Ortiz is a very experienced teacher with a high reputation for his knowledge and skill for both dance and music. No matter what your level, you are bound to enjoy this session.
- Relaxed and friendly vibe - contented dancers - whether they are in couples or single, probably encouraged with having, plenty of seating and tables surrounding the dance floor, plenty of room to walk around the Hall (behind the tables), a licensed bar, circulation fans, option of helping yourself to tea/coffee/cake, chilled water, option to buy hot food, free raffle and lots of free on-site car parking. Location of venue is ideal for those in the South or East Anglia region as close to main links, whether by road or rail.
