HSC Walk - Langsett Reservoir Circular

We will leave Langsett Barn car park at 10.30am 22nd January. The car park is the second car park after leaving the Flouch junction. It's on the right (not to be confused with the one on the left) off the A616 Sheffield to Huddersfield Road. See brown tourist sign for the car park shortly after the A616 A628 junction near the Flouch Inn. Grid ref SE212004 Post Code S36 4GY

The walk is just over 3 miles long and is not too strenuous.There aren't any short cuts on this walk and walking boots are recommended. The walk should take about 2 hours and we will retire to the Foxhouse Inn for lunch.

Anyone not walking can still come and join us there at about 12.45. Fox House Inn Penistone Road HD9 2TR, about 1½ miles along the B6106 Penistone Road towards Sheffield from the club. Please bring along friends and family, all are welcome. If you bring your dog we will be walking across open moorland so please don't forget your lead.

If the weather on the day is very poor then we will cancel but we'll still be going to the Foxhouse for a meal.
