HSC Boxing Day Walk
To Hades and back, via Elysium.
We are taking a different route this year, so to cut down on road walking we will meet on Greave Road Hade Edge, (not by the Algy Arms as I said at 'boats in). This is the road that passes the school and Band Room just off Dunford Road in the centre of Hade Edge village.

Please meet at 10.30am. The walk is a little shorter than last year's but may be a bit more challenging. With that in mind you can be relaxed about all those extra calories of Christmas Day. It starts with a fairly steep descent so Heron sailors might need a stick, and if the weather continues as it is at the moment it will be muddy in places, so walking boots or wellies will be essential.

It should take 1½ – 2 hours, and afterwards we usually go to the Foxhouse for lunch.

Please bring along friends and family, all are welcome. If you bring your dog there are fields with livestock so don't forget your lead.
