Step aboard the Heavy Load time machine that lands somewhere in the late 1960's/early 1970's on the last Saturday of every month. You will find your time machine flight crew/hosts/deejays Beardy Rob and Karen The Hippy downstairs in the plush, cosy confines of West End venue The Phoenix. A dance orientated Rock club that feels more like a private party than a club night with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Stones, Who .... all responsible for getting a packed crowd onto the floor month after month. A never ending changing light show that includes rare original 70's lighting effects/ a cloud of incense and good vibes is the reason that Heavy Load are only a few months away from celebrating 19 years in existence.
