The wands With breathtakingly well-played concerts, these sonic wunderkinds from Copenhagen have impressed psych fans all over Europe with their kaleidoscopic tunes and hallucinogenic guitar-bling. Fuzzy guitars, quirky lyrics and a pulsating vibe that exudes both dead-serious matter and joyful silliness are the main ingredients in the back-travelling music experience presented by The Wands. November 3rd, the songwriter duo release their debut album \'The Dawn\' on which they take a fresh approach to rock music. In their domain the old ways meet the new as distinctive vocals, high-pitched choir, mindbending jams and a colorful organ joins forces with an impressive array of musical influences. The Wands have the ability to conjure anything from simplistic no-bullshit rock tracks to acidy and enormous, wavelike melodies. Their legend starts of in the nursing 60’s, and on their way through space and time they visit the mind-boggling 70’s, and plow through the riches of the 90’s rock-revivalism. All underlined with a whiff of modern psych rock.
