This Saturday we celebrate African music! Two local projects which bring us the sounds of neighboring music and culture, and all we can do is be grateful for such rich musical experiences. Looperia Project is a project that comes from the heart of Africa, passing through the northwest to Egypt. A blend of spiritual lyrics and gnawa rhythms with a Sufi twist form the unique yet familiar African sound that is Looperia.
While Ahmed Omar’s project AfriCairo أفريكايرو aims to create a dialogue between diverse cultures and customs and to close the distances between communities. Africairo succeeds in doing so by finding a common language within Africa: music.
House Rules:
-Reservations are necessary.
-Reservations are held until 10.30pm.
-Couples only.
-Minimum entry age 25.
-Violent behavior will not be tolerated.
-Illegal substances are not permitted.
-Door selection applies.
-Doors close at full capacity.
