Electronic musician and producer Ahmed Saleh emerges with yet another collection of genre-blurring sounds, heavily percussive, the set encompases trip hop, Arabic beats, and a whole lot in between.

Playing at CJC for the first time, Coke Machine is a Cairo-based dream-punk duo formed in 2013 by Zeina Aly and Kamal Tabikha. Their sound is influenced by the 80’s post-punk synth aesthetics of bands like Joy Division and New Order as well as newer takes on punk by bands such as Parquet Courts and Ought. We’re lucky enough to get to witness them perform songs from their upcoming LP live, which is set to be released by the end of the year.
