Lack of Afro
Adam Gibbons has achieved a startling amount in the few years since his first releases on Freestyle Records. With five highly acclaimed albums under his belt, touring live and DJing across the world, whilst producing and remixing everyone from Tom Jones, The Pharcyde, The New Mastersounds through to Kraak & Smaak - Lack of Afro is truly one of the kings of modern soul!

His most recent album 'Hello Baby' was released in May 2016 to instant acclaim and was nominated for BBC Radio 6 Music's ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2016 with strong support from Craig Charles, Lauren Lavern, Nemone and Jo Wiley.

Wide ranging, eclectic and progressive musical outlook has always been the Lack of Afro approach, harnessing disparate musical styles ranging from funk, soul and hiphop to create a contemporary yet retro musical escapade of dancefloor friendly funk.
