Organized by the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival to promote, develop, and encourage the talents of Saskatchewan’s young jazz musicians, the TD Jazz Intensive has become the highlight of the year for many aspiring musicians. Students from across the province converge on Saskatoon to attend clinics, workshops, jam sessions and master classes by internationally recognized clinicians and educators. Creative and challenging opportunities for students of all musical levels the TD Jazz Intensive Program focuses on improvisation and creative musical exploration under the guidance of distinguished jazz educators, where program participants will create and work toward this special performance.

The TD Jazz Intensive is coordinated by professional musicians, Mark DeJong and David Freeman.
