ABOUT PAZ GIORGI
With more than 13 years of experience, Paz serves as one of the most important teachers and professionals of Argentine tango dancing. She brings to the dance all its freshness and beauty. Owner of a cheerful and neat style, she communicates to students the importance and relevance of the foundations and fundamentals of Argentine tango. The technical expertise and dynamic, obtained from her main reference, Fabian Salas, make her an expert in the areas of structure, elements, free and active following, as well as all aspects of tango dance in general.
Since 2008 she has been part of the master template CITA (Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino). She has participated with Fabian Salas in several festivals, seminars and workshops around the world in different cities: New York, Austin , Palma de Mallorca , Cesena, Sharm el Sheikh, Menton, Antalya, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Parma, Madrid, Paris, Canary Islands, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Alicante, Stockholm and Beirut.
In 2012 she made her first tour with partner Federico Perelli in different cities of Spain, with whom she also founded the Sancayetango School in Argentina.
During CITA 2013 Paz and Federico gave lessons and performed with Maestros like Fabian Salas and Lola Diaz, Mariano "Chicho" Frúmboli and Juana Sepúlveda, Eduardo Cappussi and Mariana Flores, Joe Corbata and Lucila Cionci, Adrian Veredice and Alejandra Hobert, Christian Márques and Virginia Gómez, Carlitos Espinoza and Noelia Hurtado, Nito and Elba García, Sebastián Achával and Roxana Suárez. The show took place in ND Ateneo Theatre and the lessons in Mansión Dandy, in the mythical neighborhood of San Telmo. During 2013 they worked in several cities of Argentina and shared the stage with important orchestras like "Sexteto Milonguero", "Amores Tangos", Quinteto Finisterre" and Orchesta de Tango de Necochea" between others.
Since 2014 she also works with her friend and partner in the Middle East, Tofic Anton. Tofic is known for breathing techniques which he created and developed for tango. This research is currently conducted by both.
