Joey Abando is best known as the lead singer of the popular Filipino musical group the Boyfriends.
Having reached great heights of success back in the 1970s, the Boyfriends are still regarded as one of the most prominent bands of the Manila Sound, with pop and disco harmonies reminiscent of the Bee Gees.
Joey will be accompanied by a local band and Rooty Hill regulars M7, together reliving all of the hits from that era.
