Através do seu conhecimento e técnica, tem inspirado uma nova geração de DJs e produtores entusiásticos por esse mundo fora.
Sul Africano sediado em Londres, Esa é um artista carismático e produtor talentoso que além de host na reputada Worldwide FM, consistentemente tem editado através da sua própria label Rememory Music, Highlife (que co-fundou com Auntie Flo), Burek, Local Talk, e mais recentemente a Brownswood Recordings e Dekmantel.
A sua identidade musical é bem definida e muito expansiva, através dos ritmos e produções vibrantes, desafia a cena da música electrónica.

London based South African, Esa Williams is part of a unique breed of talent challenging the electronic music scene. Drawing influences from his roots but firmly looking towards the future, he embodies a sound without limitations. A charismatic and energy filled DJ as well as a gifted producer, his impressive and evolving output spans his early productions on his own Rememory Music label, to collaborations with Auntie Flo and the much-touted Highlife World Series. Esa carved out a niche curating electronic music-focused educational programmes in Cuba, East Africa and South Africa.
