Singer Songwriter, Josienne Clark, and Guitarist, Ben Walker won the award for best duo at the 2014 BBC Radio Folk Awards. Josienne Clark is an impressive, versatile singer. Her original folk heroine was Sandy Denny, such that Josienne performs Denny classics including Fotheringay and Like An Old Fashioned Waltz.
The repertoire of Josienne Clark and Ben Walker is surprisingly varied including many songs written by Josienne Clark herself, as well as some traditional songs and material from the contemporary folk repertoire, including Gillian Welch and Jackson Frank.
