In a world where the words "underground legend" are too often overused, Glen Meadmore is the real deal. He first splashed onto the Los Angeles scene in the early eighties, with a series of performances that left the most jaded club crawlers gaping in wonder and comparing notes about what they had just seen. Fearlessly outdoing himself with each successive spectacle, he raised the bar well beyond his own six feet eight inches. He so redefined the performance art scene... that club promoters were soon hosting nights dedicated to Glen Meadmore imitators.
