This August, the dazzling colours, pounding beats, and sultry heat of Rio will come to Guanabara, London’s favourite Brazilian venue, for a month of non-stop festivity. Kicking off on Friday 5th August 2016, Guanabara will host a variety of Olympic and Carnival themed events, from live percussion bands and samba dance parades to huge carnival masked parties and DJs playing the hottest sounds straight from Rio.

Saturday 6th August – Rhythms of the City
Uk’s premier samba percussion squad, ROTC performs not only authentic ~Carnival samba, but many other funky styles as salsa, soca, funk and even hip-hop with the same passion and energy. “Rhythms” are the beating heart of London Multi-award winning FIRE COLLECTIVE, bringing drummers, singers, dancers, horns and guitars together having a up to 40-strong group rocking Guanabara’s stage.
