About the Twerps
Cheeky, charming, and catchy as hell, Melbourne foursome Twerps are lo-fi pop gems. Formed in 2008, Twerps were called “the best new band in Australia” by Uncut magazine on the basis of their debut EP, and they have toured with the likes of Mac DeMarco, Deerhunter, the Black Lips, Yo La Tengo, and Thee Oh Sees. On top of making knockout appearances at SXSW and CMJ, Twerps’ much-anticipated sophomore album is due out on Merge Records in January.
