This is a fun afternoon for those wanting to share their love of music and play, sing or recite in an inviting and friendly atmosphere. Put your name on the blackboard on the day to perform, or just get along and listen to some great music.

Renowned Canberra singer and this year's National Folk Festival poetry reciting champion Chris McGinty is the feature act, entertaining with his repertoire of Australian and Irish folksongs and a bit of poetry.

Chris McGinty plays guitar and banjo - and double-handed spoons - and his songs reflect his lifelong passion for the bush, our pioneers and bushrangers and his Irish heritage. Come and hear Chris and enjoy a drink and an Irish Club meal.
