Eyal Lovett is an Israeli jazz pianist and composer, currently living in Berlin. Eyal’s 2nd album – “Tales From a Forbidden Land” will be recorded Oct 2016, and will include GiladHekselman on Guitar. Eyal’s debut album – “Let Go” was released in 2013 to critical acclaim, and was followed by an international release tour inEurope and Israel. The album consist of original compositions, arrangements for standards and for Israeli rock and folk songs.Eyal’s music comes from a wide range of influences - He is classically trained, and he is deeply immersed in the jazz tradition, as well as in the diverse music that is found in Israel and the Middle East.Eyal has toured with his trio in Denmark, Germany, Poland and Israel and has played at the renowned Aarhus International Jazz Festival. He is played with the Kenneth Dahl Knudsen group, the Jens Fisker Nielsen Quratet and the SLDK project, and has toured Europe extensively with them. He also performed with the Martin Seiler quartet at the Bern International Jazz Festival.Eyal studied in New York with such renowned musicians as Sam Yahel, George Cables, Hal Galper and Ari Hoening. In Israel he studied classical music with Sarah Tal and Rachel Feinstein and jazz with Amit Golan, OferGanor, OmriMor, Yuval Cohen and AlonYavnai. Eyal is an award winning alumni of the first class
of the prestigious joint program of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and The Israeli Conservatory. He continued his education at the New School in New York, where he was awarded scholarships for outstanding performance, and was chosen to represent the school in festivals in Europe.
