Üritus: Atavistic Kicks - Rock’n’Roll and it’s children

is a wild ride through the endless depths of our musical past.
Focusing on the styles that gave birth to the mongrel monster called Rock’n’Roll and it’s children.
From liquorstained piano pounding R&B of the 1940s and its evil cousin Electrified Blues, through the banshee wailings of 1950s Rockabilly up to the Surf and Beat sounds pouring out of american garages and the basements of the world in the 1960s.
And from there to the last holy confusions of Punk.
In between you will meet everyone from Nat King Cole to Elvis Presley to Iggy Pop, having a wild party with Ray Charles and Hank Williams.

At the end of our journey we will go even deeper into the past, to the very root of modern music, the place where Blues, Jazz and Country were born; where hundreds of years old traditions gathered, from the unknown number of people that came before us.

AND don’t forget, most of this music was created to dance to!!!
