Üritus: Tuesdays In The Market - TOY MOUNTAIN FUNDRAISER

This Christmas we're giving back! And on Tuesday December 16th - we are hosting a giant pizza party with lots of toys!

Please bring an unused/unopened children's toy to Marquee Tuesdays "In The Market" TOY MOUNTAIN FUNDRAISER to help spread the Christmas Spirit to those in need for "The Magic of Christmas" non-for-profit charitable foundation. Under our Marquee Christmas Tree we hope to fill it with hope, love and gifts for those truly in need during this time of year.

With your generous donation we will give you a special Marquee Christmas Gift that you can use in our Market that night! We are forever grateful for your kindness and generosity and thank you for your support in our efforts to spread the Christmas cheer!

Tickets are not required for this event, we ask that you simply drop by with your toy and receive your Christmas gift from us. Please stay inside and keep warm with complimentary hot chocolate - order a pizza, share some laughs and celebrate with us!

About The Magic of Christmas:
The Magic of Christmas is more than just gifts. They are about Loving, Caring and Sharing and truly spreading the spirit and the magic of Christmas to those in despair. They will visit over 400 families and thousands of patients in care facilities throughout the City of Calgary this year to bring the Christmas spirit into their homes and hearts. They would love to have you be a part of this year’s experience, whether you donate time, money or simply help them spread the word. The Magic of Christmas is a not-for-profit charity focused on delivering the Christmas Spirit of loving, caring and sharing to many. This is where they differ from many other charities. The Magic of Christmas brings laughter, songs, hugs, as well as, gifts, necessities and referrals to other support groups in our community. They work with City of Calgary social services and the Calgary Police Service to make sure Santa doesn’t miss anyone who needs a special visit. Every Christmas Eve, they load Calgary Transit buses, magically transformed into reindeer sleighs, with Santa and his elves and they visit homes and hospital rooms of people who are in despair. Despair can come in many forms, be it emotional, financial or physical. They may have had a death in their immediate family, lost a job, gotten a medical diagnoses that has been difficult, or they are spending Christmas in a care facility away from their loved ones, etc. No matter the reason, The Magic of Christmas works hard to make sure that those in despair experience loving, caring and sharing during a time of the year that is supposed to be joyful.
