Noonday Sun

The trio of Chris Cooper, Joshua Mason, and Jeff Redman began playing together as Noonday Sun (sometimes with additional members) after meeting at a Jackson County music benefit called Play For Peace in 2009.Drawing on the influences of rock, jazz and blues, and informed by artists like The Meters, Dixie Dregs, Eric Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughan; Noonday Sun strives to create a unique style of music that is driven by intense improvisation, deep groove and accessible melodicism.
