Yes, friends and neighbors, boys and girls ..
It is that time of the year again.. that time known as Little Italy Days. For 4 days every year, we are descended upon by hucksters, hooligans and hilarity as the powers that be in Bloomfield throw their annual street fair..
At Howlers we throw our own block party.. there is LOCAL music on our sidewalk.. and the LOCAL businesses on our block get a chance to shine just a bit..
So.. won't you join us on the 4500 Block of Liberty for music and merriment..
Grab your ZA from Pizza Italia.. check out @BabyLovesTacos getting ready to open across the street.. Thai Gourmet next door has amazing foods.. Visit Pittsburgh Dance Center and check out the classes they have to offer..

But most of all.. dance in the streets..

Friday.. 5ish pm.. we kick this off with a visit by Brazilian samba drum corp.. Timbeleza and then a fine group of youth bands out front (what, they can't be inside but this is the future of Pgh Music.. )

Then we bring it all indoors for Big Splash, Space Debacle, DJ Purr Ubu

Saturday.. we open at 1 pm and we're gonna go right into the night OUTSIDE!!
Starting at 1 pm..
Working Breed, The Goodfoots, Elkhound, Antiquities, Adam Fitz; Middle Children - Little Italy days, Weird Paul Rock Band - Little Italy Days and Smokey Bellows (we know, it says Smokey Bellows on Sunday on the poster.. but they are gonna play outside late night on Saturday )

Sunday, Funday..
Donna O Music gets it going at 1ish..
And then, and then.. at 2 pm.. join Pabst Blue Ribbon for
POLKA, PIEROGI AND PABST!
Unnecessary Polka will throw down, there will be dolla PBRs and oh.. Pierogi till 4 pm . All curtesy of Pabst

Holy Block Party Batman.. you can all head up the street, peruse all the things going on, play bocce, check out a cannoli or two.. but we'll be doing the real thing in the 4500 Block..
